GOVERNMENT UNDERTAKING OPERATION TO FLASH OUT ILLEGAL ALIENS

The Government is currently undertaking a comprehensive immigration operation to flash out of illegal aliens in the country. The operation is taking place across the country and is targeting all illegal aliens regardless of their nationality or religion. The operation is a national security operation and in keeping with the laws of Kenya.

So far, the operation has led to the arrest of the following:-

Nairobi 520
Rift Valley 322
Western 22
Eastern 11
Coast 45
North Eastern 1046
Nyanza 39
Central 123

Total 2128

Those arrested are from various countries such as Somalia, Nigeria, Congo, Eritrea and others. The operation will continue indefinitely so as to ensure there is compliance with our immigration laws.

Those with refugee status will be taken to Kakuma Refugee Camp and the rest will be deported.

The Government requests all Kenyans to support the Government to ensure enhancement of our national security.
Aliens found with Kenyan IDs will be arrested and arraigned in Court. Civil Servants who are found to be compromised in issuance of identity cards to aliens will also be arrested and criminal charges preferred against them.
