The Government has noted with concern the ambiguous poll by an organization calling itself Strategic PR.

The organization purports to have polled the performance rating between H. E. President Mwai Kibaki and the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

This type of rating is misleading because it attempts to measure a variable that is unmeasurable. The President and Prime Minister are a team who work in a complimentary manner and whose work and that of Cabinet cannot be measured against each other.

These kinds of polls serve no purpose but to create artificial political competition, something that the citizens of this country do not desire at this time of developing the country.

Therefore, the Government calls on all citizens and sponsors to reject the findings of the poll and to critically question the workings and findings of the polling organization.
