The Government will ensure there is no cover-up in the ongoing investigations into misappropriation and corruption allegations in the Ministry of Education.
The Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission has been directed to undertake speedy and detailed investigations so as to facilitate the charging of those who are involved in the alleged scam.
The Government is very clear that all the money involved should be accounted for and anyone involved in the alleged scam should be dealt with.
The Hon. Minister of Education, Prof. Sam Ongeri is deeply engaged in finding the details of what might have been transpiring as relates to Free Primary Education.
The Government will update the public as more information is available and will take immediate action on officers who are implicated in the scandal.
